Farcasiu, Alexandru-Titus / Andrei, Oana-Cella
The succesfull complete denture therapy could benefit, in case of xerostomic patient, from studies on wettability of denture base materials with natural or artificial saliva. The initial state of wettability for different denture base materialsrepresents a starting point for the evaluation of any type of surface treatment. Artificial saliva has better wettability with all tested resins. Artificial saliva and further surface treatment can improve quality of life for the xerostomic patient.
